Top 10 games I can't wait for + others

Too start things off with there are some games that I have never played before and would like to try them. Or they just couldn't get in the top ten list so there here.
Star Wars: The Old Republic:
I am interested on how they do the missions and characters. I am also wondering if there will be anything in space like combat.
Shogun 2: Total War:
Now I have never played Shogun before but one of the people I watch on the net made this game sound wicked and so I would like to try it,
Postal 3:
I have never played any of the other ones in this series but I have heard things about them and would like to give this one a try.
Huxley: The Dystopia:
I have actually been watching this game for years now and I would like to see how it plays.
Thief 4:
Never played one in the series but have heard great things about them and so I would love to try it.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution:
Once again have never played a Deus Ex game before and so this one sound interesting.
Call of Duty: Black Ops:
I have played all of the call of duty's (not modern warfare 2) and I don't think I will be buying this one but I do want to try it.
Dead Rising 2:
I never was able to get any where in the frist but I would like to try the 2nd. I still love the frist one I just can't handle restarting over and over again.
I Am Alive:
Have no idea what this is I have only seen the trailer.

11)Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days:
My brother and I played co-op on the frist one and had a blast. It was a really enjoyable game and so we will be going to again.

10)Saints Row 3:
Now I bought the frist one and played the 2nd one(I think) and so I would like to see what they do with the 3rd one. I really enjoy the side mission in the game and how badass the main character is. The game makes you really feel like a pimp or gangster.
9)Silent Hill 8:
I haven't heard anything about this game but I am really looking forward to it. I am playing home-coming and to me that game is creepy as hell. I am really wanting to see if they are going to really try to take the game to the next level.
8)DOOM 4:
Now the big one DOOM 4 I played DOOM 3 and didn't find it as scary as people said it was. Sure you open the door the guy jumps out it and attacks but then it happens over and over again. There was one part with an item container which scared the shit out of me. Really want to see what they do with the story for this game.
7)Crackdown 2:
When I frist saw crackdown's trailer and heard halo 3 beta was going to come with the game I thought the game was going to be horrible. I was actually not going to buy it till the halo beta was put on it. I can not wait for crackdown 2 I really want to see the new gang leaders, weapons, city, and see what if any new power ups.
6)Halo: Reach:
I really didn't want to put halo on the list but damn I really want to play it because of the space battles they looked awesome. I want to see the new story and the new weapons.
5)Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier:
Now when I heard that the main character could turn invisible I was not going to touch this game but that E3 demo sold me. The game look outstanding. I loved Ghost reason advance warfare one and two and now I can not wait for Future soldier.
4)Bionic Commando Rearmed 2:
Yes an arcade game shocking. Now the funny thing is I have owned Bionic Commando Rearmed since it was released on the arcade and had tried to play it a bunch of times. Every time I would swing fall and die or land and get shot and die. But a few days ago I played it again and it was a ton of fun. Can not wait for this game.
3)Portal 2:
I thought Portal to be one of the best games of 2007. The dialog was funny and the characters all seemed alive in the game. The puzzles are really creative and enjoyable to solve.
2)Dead Space 2:
I thought Dead Space was one of the best games of 2008 And I want to see if you play a new character or not. I am really wanting to see the new story of the game. Also I can't wait to see the weapons

And number one

1)Half-Life 2: Episode Three
Yes that's right Half-Life 2: Episode Three I am a huge fan of the half-life series which is the main reason I love FPS games. They are flawless games to me. With the end of Episode two I can not wait for Episode three of corse is Valve who we all know loves realse dates so I will not be holding my breath.

Fedor Emelianenko

So last night at Strikeforce Fedor Emelianenko lost for the frist time since his December 22, 2000 loss because of a cut with an illegal elbow. Fabricio Werdum submitted him with a triangle armbar at 1:06 of the Frist round. Fedor said he tapped because of the choke not the armbar. Now I am a fan of Fedor so it is a little sad that he lost but it had to happen eventually. I am happy its a guy like Werdum just because he knows what he just did and he wont rub it in Fedor's face. I would like to see the new heavy weight pound for pound fighters now. As of right now Fedor has one more fight on his contract with strikeforce and he has stated that he will finish that fight. As for after that I am guessing he will be retired. I would love to see a rematch with Fedor Emelianenko vs Fabricio Werdum. I just hope people don't think "well he lost that was fun." just because he lost does not make him a bad fighter. His fight record didn't make him good.

My goal

My goal on blogging is to post my thoughts on video games while I play them and on movies. For both movies and video games I would like for them to be new. So I will try not start a new post for a video game or movie that I have already seen I might start one for a bunch of movies that I had seen again (so combining them together). Of course if there's something that bugs me about a game or movie that I have played in the past I will post my thoughts on it. There are no movies for me that are off-limits for watching. My thoughts on movies is that a movie you think looks stupid could end up being one of your favorites. With that said I will not go out and buy a movie that looks like shit to me. It pretty much means if someone says "Hey lets watch title here" I wont say no just because I might enjoy it. Now for video games its different because well there $60 and my money tree hasn't fully grown yet so in till then I will be playing games that are lets say under $30.

Video games I like to play

Now for the Video games I enjoy play. I love First person shooters. My favorites are Perfect dark, Golden-eye, halo's, Half-life's, Counter-strike (source), call of duty's, plus others. I also love survival horror games or any horror video games of that kind. Some that I like would be Dead space, Resident evil's and Silent hill homecoming is going good. I also played all the warcraft's , Diablo 2, Doom/Doom 3, World of Warcraft, Boulders gate, forsaken, Road Rash, Mario's, Kirby's, Metroid, Final Fantasy 7 & 5, Any Rareware game I can get plus many others.

Games I played the most are Perfect dark, Diablo 2, Counter Strike and Counter Strike source, World of warcraft and any multiplayer N64 game. I prefer shooters and horror games but I have play driving, fighting, and RTS video games. I like real-time strategy it's just the computer always kicks my ass.

Thoughts on Video game fans.

I just started playing video games again just about two weeks ago. I had over a year off on video games just got tired of them. I am not huge on new video games now a days. I just find video games are judged way to much. Everyone has to say what they think about a game, everyone has to "pick" a side. It seems like now that gaming is huge there are no more "gamers". For example you have to like either the Xbox 360 or the Playstation, You can not like both. Go to any video game forum and you will have tons of people proclaiming one video game is better than the other. Back in the day (the 90's) I would rent games that I had no idea what they where about and if me and my brother or friends had fun, it was a good game. It's a video game console you buy them to play video games. Why is there so much anger towards people who didn't buy what you did? It seems like games can't just be "fun" they must have amazing graphics, sound, story, characters, and NEW. Back in the day most games had no story and the graphics and sound where 8-bit(16-bit) and most games tried to rip off one another. I just don't understand the whole "This game (title here) is better than (title here)" so what if its better. I bet I can have fun with either.

Bottom line: Buy a game to play it, to enjoy it. If you can't have fun playing a game and your only playing them for ranking then just stop it is pointless.

Now I own a Xbox 360 (its died 3 times and I still love it). I am using my brother PS3 for the blu-ray player. I sold my Nintendo WII it just had no games that interested me. Bot huge on the mini games.

8½ Criterion #140

I have no idea what to think of this movie. I went into it expecting something completely different then what I ended up getting. I really liked the main character Guido. I got completely lost half way through the movie meaning I need to watch it again. A huge problem I had, was its a black and white film which doesn't bother me what so ever but the problem is it's mostly white. Heres the problem its in italian with english subtitles. I found it at time impossible to read the subtitles fast enough when they are on top of a white background. I may just be me I am a slow reader but white on top of white is just mean. I wish that Criterion would have an option to make the subtitles yellow or white with a black outline so they stand out. The women in this movie are really beautiful especially the one he's cheating on his wife with.
The story is about Guido a Director that is starting the production of his latest film. The problem is he has no desire to make this film. So everyone is trying to get the film going while he is really stuck in a place he does not want to be in. Even tho its a comedy I only laughed a few times. I was entertained. It is just when he would day-dream I would get lost having not been able to read fast enough. Should this be in the Criterion collection yes it is a great example of film making.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button Criterion #476

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a great movie. I really enjoyed it. i thought the characters where well written. I really got into this world of Benjamin and its characters. The aging effect are outstanding. The detail that went into it all was perfect. I found the sailing part to be the best. I thought that young Benjamin was some what rushed. At some parts I lost track of time like when Benjamins father passes seemed like it was that same night he walked out on him. Everyone seems to have the perfect death for some reason. I didn't like was the whole priest making him walk. I thought that was just not needed, he could have walk some other way. Benjamin come off really selfish in this movie and at times. Do I think this movie should be part of the Criterion collection um ya I do it is really enjoyable. Will I watch it again I don't know. Most likely not by myself. It is 165 mins but I would watch it again with someone who wants to. There are no parts that really drag. If I had to pick my least favorite part it would be the ending I just felt his story was over and so whats the point.

The Matrix
I have already seen the matrix and I love the frist one. I personally think it should have been a stand alone film. I didn't think to much of the second one. It had wicked action but that was it. The third was just not good. The thing is the story was best in the frist matrix and the action was topped in the second one so what could the third do.

Silent Hill Homecoming Day 2

ok part 2 I get through the graveyard to the street and make my way down. I run into a women I seem to know and get a walkie talkie. I go to curtis house and give him my pistol. He tells me the guy digging up graves is the mayor and I tell him to keep the gun. In return he gives me a different pistol. Its alwys nice to make friends. hmm I just found out from curtis all the clocks stopped at exactly 2:06 werid. Radio kicks in a dog jumps out from the side...that was shocking. So I get back to the graveyard and realize theres a tomb I have yet been in. Inside there is a kids coffin and a puzzle to open it. I solve the puzzle and inside....a watch with "forgive me" on it. I pass out and then wake up in....SIlent Hill.

I find the fireaxe and go into a hotel. Inside I find a set of keys. I head outside use the key and solve a puzzle power is back on. Now head inside take the elevator up and somebody is singing. I get to her and talk. I agree to help her find three things that she wants. Wow did not realize pyramid head was in this that was a shocker. I am not really talking about the bad guys trying to not spoil the game to much but damn! I hate and I mean HATE bubble head nurse. They seriously kick my ass I can barely kill them. I don't know why but they just have a fifty attack combo which I can counter as much as I want but they still kick my ass. The dogs are just jokes not hard to kill what so ever. The lurkers are just annoying. I try to just run past them. The needlers are just like the Nurses they block everything but atleast they don't seem to do much damage at all. I turned the pictures into the women behind the door. She gave me a Strange Key. I opened the door that needed the key and found my brother. Jumping for him I fall through the floor. I walk the only way I can and end up finding the mayor which doesn't help. Boss fight which is pretty easy on how to kill I just get hit alot.

In a police station and I HATE schism. I cant stand them. now a Siam....I don't think theres enough ammo in this game. Yah the sewers becuase we all know sewers levels are the way to go...Something happens to elle (I think thats her name) and I am now wanting to find her. I am out of the sewers from hell. I used all my healing items and lots of ammo. UGH this is such a pain now having to fight the schism guys with no ammo. I have yet to fight a order member I hope they are not a pain. So my mothers house has barbwire on the front door so have to make it to the back. I get a message asking to meet from the doc at his place. When I get to the building theres a crazy man with a scalpel and he runs inside. I go in and the funny thing is for a clinic it only had one health drink. I all ways find that so funny in these type of games. You go into a place that takes care of people and yet there isn't loads of health items. Anywho theres a box that needs a key so I get the key and open it and... A doll. But I pass out and wake in the....other world. after a few fights and alot of running I find a save point. thats it for today.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs

I watch Cloudy with a chance of meatballs yesterday and found it to be really enjoyable. Steve the talking monkey was my favorite. The animation was smooth. I didn't laugh out loud but I did find it funny. Anna Faris plays the lead actress and I thought that was weird, just because I kept having scary movie flash backs. In this she plays a nerd in hiding(she's a nerd but hides it). I really enjoy her character in this movie. I also found the main character to be really funny. The two of them I feel work together in this movie really well. I watched this movie on blu-ray and it was worth the price.

Borderlands

I played Borderlands the other day and I have been playing with my brother. We are on our second play through, we beat our First play through awhile ago. I am playing a warrior and he is playing a hunter. Now When I first started playing the game I really hated it. I just found it way to easy and didn't see the point in it. It was all the way till you're in a town filled with bad guys and the only way to kill them is by shooting them in the head. We died so much there because the game had been way to easy that getting killed thousands of times actually made beating the area a blast. Now on the second play through its getting boring. Today we just hit level fifty and so I don't see the point in playing anymore. Sure I can get the DLC but that requires money which I am lacking right now. I love playing the warrior and have no thoughts of changing. my brother hates his character well at least he did at the end of play through one. the graphics are great for the game suiting it nicely. I found the characters , bosses and story to be the BEST part of this game. The claptrap's are awesome with their dancing and their witty comments. I really liked the end of play through one and the start of play through two and I am looking forward to Borderlands 2.

I can not see this game being that fun playing by yourself. At least I would have never played past the first 5 mission had I been by myself. Also just a note I played it split screen on the Xbox 360.

Shadow Complex

I love the Metroid feel to the game and finding all the items was a blast. I also beat this game with 100% items collected which you get a gamer pic if you get all the armour pieces. The graphics are great for the style of game. I recall having a few body glitches and there was some slow down at a few parts with my hyper speed but that could have been my Xbox crying for some rest. I found the story to be kinda dumb and so I ended up skipping it all when he left his girlfriend behind. His Girlfriend gets taken (somehow) and you save her. Only to leave her in a room telling her to hide behind some crates. Shockingly she gets taken again *gasp* did not see that coming. Now I liked Bionic Commando Rearmed more than Shadow Complex even though they both have hooks (you get it later in shadow complex). I found it so much more rewarding getting to impossible places in Bionic Commando Rearmed then I did Shadow Complex but that is just me.

Bionic Commando Rearmed pt2

So I beat Bionic Commando Rearmed two days ago and found it to be really enjoyable. I got all the weapons and armour just needed to get the weapon upgrades. It took me about seven hours to beat(all of which trying to master the grappling hook). I was wanting to see how they would top the end of the original and Known that nothing is better then hitler's face melting an exploding head doesn't disappoint. The Graphics I found worked perfect for this game. The levels can be explored if the player wants to. Like I said above gameplay was really fun but even at the end I found myself mistaking some of the moves (Grappling). Now I tried playing this game in the past but every time I would fail at playing get mad and stop. This time I didn't and I am happy I played it to the end.

Bionic Commando Rearmed

So I started playing bionic commando rearmed today and I found at first it was really hard but after a while I got used to the bionic part of the game. I can't find many of the hidden items in the game. With that I still find it really enjoyable. I am not reading to story I am just playing the game. At first I found the bosses hard not knowing how to kill them. Once you figure that out its pretty much a don't take damage and kill them. I found the first boss the hardest because I didn't know you could use the barrels.

Games I got pt1

So I went to a play and trade store and got some games I got. Dino Crisis 1 and 2 for Playstation one. I also got SIlent Hill Homecoming Which I am playing right now. I also got Resident Evil 4 for the Playstation 2 which I have never played any of them.

Silent Hill Homecoming Day 1

SO I bought Silent Hill Homecoming (SSH) today for the Xbox 360 and started playing it. Now I have to note even tho I have seen what happens in the frist three game I myself have never played them and us gamers all know playing the game is different from watch a game be played. With that lets begin.

I begin in a hospital looking for a boy. At first I thought it's his son but now I am thinking his little brother (who maybe died?) anyways. So I find the code for the door easy the kid runs I find the knife. Now I am in the other world and I have to fight a bubble head nurse. Now I have heard that one bad thing about the game is how much combat is in it. The part at the stairs scared me with the wheelchair. In my head I thought that it was a guy in a wheelchair and scared myself before even seeing it(damn 5.1SS). Now I HATE those damn bugs they killed my twice. The frist time I didn't know i had one on me. The second time I didn't know how to get it off.

So it turns out to be a dream and you wake up in a semi-truck. The driver drops you off in your home town and you decide to walk to your house. On the way you meet a women I don't really know who she is yet but I have a feeling I will be meeting her again. So I make it home and no one is there I check all the rooms and find a flash light in the kid's bedroom. I need to find a key for the door at the end of the hallway. So I go downstairs and there's a video showing my mom(?) in a chair with a gun. During the video I take the gun from her. I see that the door to the basement is now open. So I go down stairs and the basement is flooded so I need to turn the pump on. No gas but I have found a garage door opener. so I head outside to open it. In there I find an empty gas can but nothing to fill it with. so I look around and there is a hole in the wall. Following the paths I find a semi-truck (the same one?) and fill the gas can. I head back and put the gas in the pump and the water starts to pump.

I can now use the door that was closed because of the flooding. so I go outside hearing dogs now.(nice) I head inside using a different door. To the kitchen not really finding anything important besides a door that I think needs an axe to open. I head outside again and go to the back of the yard and there's a door. Opening the door I head down a path that leads to a graveyard(fun). I see a man digging in a grave, not really sure if he's a grave robber or not but I need a key to get to him. Found a save state save and that's it for day one.

3 locked door. used 2 health drinks. and I can see what people mean by the combat. I find using the knife works the best right now. I fought about 5 bubble head nurse, a dog and about 4 Lurker's killing them all. Oh and some stupid bugs damn them!

Black Mesa: Source Trailer Review

Now for my frist reviews I am going to talk about something that I am really looking forward to. That is Black Mesa: Source Which is a mod of Half life 2. Now I am a huge fan of the Half Life series and have also played CSS for most of my teen years. So when I watched this trailer I was pumped and then I read that it has been in the works for 5 years now. I have never beat the frist Half life but I have beat Half Life 2 many times and episode 1 and 2 which I loved them all.

Now for the trailer. It starts off really nice I love the campy feel. Meaning its a mod of HL2 then it should play the same and the graphics look that way. The lab itself seem more alive.

Black Mesa is being made by a third party company which I just hope they can do the game justice which to me looks like they are. A Release date was set for 2009 but they canceled that and Stated it will be Released "when it's done."

As of right now they plan on it being free. All I know is that I will be there the day it is out to play it. Can not wait.
